Remain In Constant Gratitude & Thanksgiving

As Thanksgiving passed and the end of the year winds down, I'm reminded to stay in constant gratitude and thanksgiving. So much chaos happened, but also compassion, kindness and blessings took place in 2022. It can be so easy to stay focused on the battles we face and the unrest all over the world that we forget that there is still so much good to do and that we can be apart of that good every day. Whether it's at our jobs, with our friends and families or just out at the supermarket-- we have the opportunity to be a blessing to someone all the time. And when you're able to meet the needs of other's, it stirs your heart and puts you in the thanksgiving mindset.

Fear and anxiety can take a grip on us, and if we allow it to remain we lose ourselves in the midst. Maybe this year was not your best and you felt lonely, lost heartbroken or unbalanced, know that God sees you and still has a beautiful plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Nothing goes unnoticed with God, He will pay back every wrong thing that has been dealt to you. (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10) Even when it's hard and nothing seems to be changing, remain in thanksgiving and praise and watch to see what God will do. He will turn your test into a testimony that can reach the lives of others. Stay grateful.

Don't forget how God protected you and your family, promoted you in the workplace or prospered you financially. Declare his promises over your life and remain humble. Greater is in store for you now and your future.

Whether 2022 was awesome or simply a disappointment, just know that better is on the way. Each year teaches us something new about ourselves, life and others. It guards our hearts, builds our character and trains us for the next year and the years to come. Remember that rain falls on the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45), so no matter what life throws your way, remain in thanksgiving and gratitude knowing God is in control and fighting your battles.

What are seven things you are grateful for this year? Make a list or say them aloud. Thank you, Jesus!

God Bless You ALL :)

Love you!

XOXO Brit
