Chatting With Interns Oussama & Eli

I'm so blessed to work at a company that truly values its employees and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional services and has a multi-faceted user experience for its customers. A company that transcends time and prioritizes solving problems while adapting to whatever is going on in the current market.... Mercedes-Benz will always be Luxury, Optimization and The Best or Nothing.

This past August two interns from Georgia Tech University joined the pricing team; Oussama Kerzazi & Eli Kuperman. They both came in humble, eager to learn and reserved, but as each day passed it's as if their outer shell was slowly being removed and joy, laughter and smiles were at an all time high at the office. You could see that the two gained an instant brotherhood and it was beautiful to admire from afar. Work wasn't just work for them but an opportunity to adapt to challenges, seek solutions, gain experience of working in the corporate world and getting to enjoy one another's presence. Eli's communication and optimization skills went hand in hand with Oussama's analytical and problem solving skills; it's like the analogy of iron sharpening iron.

I had the chance to sit down and chat with Oussama & Eli--and what a joyful and loving experience this was. I wanted to put a fun spin on it and replicate 73 questions with Vogue but *intern addition*. Eli popped out with his black sleek Columbia motorsport jacket, vintage blue jeans and his grey and mustard Adidas sneakers. While Oussama came in with all earth tone colors; a honey brown corduroy jeans jacket, oatmeal sweater, blue jeans and chocolate mid uggs. They both have a unique twist to their styles, and their fashion seemed to blossom over the months which was so cool to see.

Our conversation was natural, genuine and inspirational. We talked about various topics from what they most admired about their current roles to countries they want to visit, to coffee or tea--it was a very fun chat! I will lay out the questions I asked them so you can see below. :)

I left the interview with them feeling encouraged, creative and my mind well stimulated. We can learn from one another and the importance of surrounding ourselves with people from all walks of life. You are not where you are based on irony or mere coincidence, but a divine purpose. You meet people in your lives for a reason--whether that be if they're passing by or stay with you over the years.

Interview Questions:

  1. Who is your style influence/What are your fashion go-to's/How has your dressing changed?

  2. What's your creative outlet outside of work?

  3. If you could travel to any country, where would it be and why?

  4. What's something you intend to accomplish by the end of 2023?

  5. How has your perspective on life changed since the pandemic?

  6. What is your biggest strength?

  7. Coffee or tea?

  8. What's a potential weakness that you want to turn into a strength? (work or personal)

  9. What's your favorite thing about your current position?

  10. Why Mercedes-Benz?

By the end of their internship, Eli and Oussama grew immensely not only work wise, but personally too. You can feel the natural confidence that they both exude--the growth within themselves and the drive to persevere and go after their special dreams in life and aspirations. They are both so unique, gifted and talented in their own ways-- bettering their peers, co-workers, families and the world. I wish nothing but love, joy, peace and happiness to them both and I cannot wait to see all the amazing things they will do in the times to come.

Oussama will be graduating this December and has accepted a full time position with Mercedes Benz and Eli will be finishing up the remainder of his studies @ GA Tech University.

I hope you enjoyed this post and that you leave here knowing you can easily sit down with your co-workers and just talk, learn from one another and what they're seeking in life and to continue to lead with love. We're all on a beautiful journey in this life and all need one another.

God Bless You always!

XO-Brit
