Happy New Year friends! If you're still following along on my journey of life, thank you so much and I love y'all so much! This year is going to be spectacular! A New Year equates to new beginnings, a clean slate and the unknown. And while the unknown sounds uncertain, unforeseen or cloudy from a distance--we know that we can trust God with our future. As we embark on the year 2023, let us live at a place of peace and rest. The trials and testings of life will come to us all, but we have the power to keep our faith, confidence and trust in God. You got this friend!
I'm a very spiritual person and God speaks to us all in distinct ways--with me it's been words, signs and images... numbers too. We are in the year 2023. 23 symbolizes "God With Us" or God is ever present in our midst. There are multiple Bible verses with 2, 3, 23 or refer to two and three and they are clear depictions of what God will do in the year 2023 in my perspective. Matthew 18:20 "Where two and three have gathered in my Name I am there in their midst. Psalm 23, Matthew 1:23, Exodus 23:20 and Jeremiah 23:23 I pray these numbers and bible verses give you clarity if you come across them believing that God is with you, for you and loves you deeply.
Prosperity: As we grow in all facets of our life, we expect more goodness to follow us by doing our part as children of God. I love the Bible verse Proverbs 4:18 "The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day." This scripture signifies life, light and that abundance will come day after day by our obedience to love and honor Him. Every morning we rise, we have the ability to start anew and be a blessing. Life comes with seasons, and no matter what season in life you may be in, whether pruning or reaping--you will prosper through it. Psalm 30:5 "Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning." If you still have a pulse, you still have a beautiful purpose right in front of you. Stay encouraged and believe that prosperity is within your reach. You have everything you need friend!
Adventure: God has something perfectly tailored for us all this year. I truly believe as He's developing our character, our hunger and yearning for a deeper connection with Him is far greater than it has ever been before. The places we're going to go, the people we're going to meet, the lives we're going to change, the new faces that we will encourage and love on is going to leave our hearts forever changed for the greater good. Supernatural healings, signs, wonders and miracles will happen in the year 2023. Sickness will be loosed, financial favor will be coming from left and right, all debts paid off, families restored, new life will come and the love of God will be seen like never before. God is taking us on a joy-ride and I'm so excited to see what He will do in my life and yours too. Remember there is a world out there that is hurting deeply and you're their life-line. Use your gift(s) that God has given you. Tell them about Jesus and the unfathomable love He has for His children. See the need out there and meet it--whether that be financial means, a phone call to a loved one, and encouraging word, buying someone a meal, feeding the homeless or re-connecting with an old friend. At the end of the day, God is in control of our life and He's taking us from glory to glory. Enjoy the path you're on--we're all on a specific journey.
Rest: Typically when people hear the word rest they either think they could use more of it and don't use it or they feel as if they have too many tasks to complete and they don't have the time to rest. We live in a money-hungry-driven world that is constantly on the go to buy more possessions, receive more accolades or feed our fleshly desires. I've been in this position where I felt like I needed more clothes or never felt like I had enough, but at the end of the day when I bought more clothes or earned more money I was never truly satisfied. In the social media realm, we're conditioned to be all about me and less about being a service to others. We're climbing this facade of a ladder that only leads people to depression, anxiety, drugs, insomenia, sickness and self-gratification. How can rest be found in any of these things? It simply cannot. Take some time off, nurture your hobby, go on a walk, catch up with your neighbor, play with your pet, read a book, try a puzzle, ease your mind and thoughts, pray and breathe. Talk to God. Tell him how you feel. Rest is going to be something that will change your life. It will allow you to think straight and gear you towards the right direction. You will be able to hear clearly and receive the answers you've been seeking. Try it out. Try it more. Our minds aren't mean to be running at a 1000 miles a minute. There comes to a point where your body can only take so much and it will shut down. Take your time. Rest.
I'm so excited that we're in a new year--a year of new possibilities and hope.
Love you all friends and I'm so excited to see where this new year takes you too. :)
God Bless You Always!
XOXO--Brit
